January 20th - Rest - Orlando, FL

Today was spent getting myself down to Orlando for DECA's Executive Council Mid-Winter Meeting with the rest of the Collegiate DECA National Officer Team and the High School DECA National Officer Team.

I arrived in Florida at about 12:30 PM and immediately knew I wasn't in Kansas New Hampshire anymore. It was about 78 degrees and there was not 3 feet of snow on the ground. Something tells me I am going to enjoy the couple of days of FL weather, even if I am going to be in a boardroom for almost the entire trip.

After going over the agenda and program of work for the year, we were taken to "the location" where we will be holding the Collegiate DECA opening ceremony. It looks to be a great time for all members who will be in attendance at the 50th Annual Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference.
