I decided it was best that I stick to the major roads such as Candia, Mammoth, and Wellington. Because of this, the only logical option for me tonight would be to do my normal 7 mile loop with Heartache Hill thrown in there.
I took it easy as traction was an issue and the roads were flooded with slush. At about the 3 mile mark, I was beginning to question why I do this to myself. I could not feel my feet due to the amount of slush I was running through.
I knew that the mile long Heartache Hill was the only difficult part of the run to finish. After the hill, it would be a downhill 5K to my driveway and within minutes I knew I could be in the nice warm shower to thaw-out my feet (I can't wait).
(Slushies anyone?)
I made it home and enjoyed a nice warm shower, big cup of hot chocolate, and watched a little TV by the fire. Only thing that made this night a little better was going out to Wings Your Way with Geoff and Katie later that night (I LOVE WINGS!).
