January 18th - Wussmill - 3.1

After taking a much needed day off, I was ready to get a few miles under the belt for the week. Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not cooperating with me and decided that it would be a good day to snow about 7 inches and then cover it with a nice sheet of ice. Obviously, not idea running conditions!

After dinner, I decided that I could not take another day off. With my trip to Orlando, FL coming up on Thursday, I know that I will not be getting many, if any, good miles in while I am in Florida so I went over to my aunts house where there is a Wussmill set-up in her basement with a fire roaring 20 feet away.

I know this is not ideal but hey, right now it is the only option. I put in a 5K and retired to the hot-tub where I relaxed away any sore muscles still lingering from the many miles of last weekend (between running and refereeing).

Hopefully, tomorrow will provide a better option for me. It looks like it is going to be about 40 degrees and raining. This would still allow me to get a run outside (remember, runners are crazy) even with the rain. We will see though. Hopefully I will not need to run on another Wussmill tomorrow!
