I figured I would run the course I did a while ago when I went on the group run in Lowell. I know it was about a 5 mile course which was perfect after the run I put in yesterday. Only bad part was I couldn't remember the course completely.
I ran most of the course execpt for the two hellish hills (which was the reason I decided to run in Lowell in the first place) due to the face I could not remember where they were. After about 4.5 miles of exploring the area, I decided I would just try and find my way back to Hookslide's.
Thankfully I had my Garmin on and used the "Back to Start" function and found my way back. The run ended up being 6 miles total. It was a great run except for the getting lost part but even then, it was kind of fun.
This was my last run of January which brought my total for the month to 184 miles. This was the furthest distance ever run in a single month. February will not be as great of a month for me as I have a lot of conferences that I will be attending and it will make it very difficult for me to get the good miles in.
(Mother Nature is one hell of a competitor!)
