With that being said, here is the week as it happened:
February 1st: 4 inches of snow (shoveling)
February 2nd: 14 inches of snow (A LOT OF SHOVELING)
February 3rd: Packed for RI Regional Collegiate DECA conference and headed for RI.
February 4th: RI Regional Competition
February 5th: Wayland HS Girls Swim Team domination at their sectional meet.*
*The assistant coach is a frined of mine. Plus, I wanted to see what swimming was all about. It was a good time even though she says it's boring (probably because she would have smoked all of the girls if she was still able to compete). I loved the competitive spirit of the girls and the parents. The parents were just hysterical. My favorite comment was:
"It's OK, 2nd place is the real 1st! Wayland doesn't belong in this division, they are too good."HAHAHAHAHA! I am going to use that excuse for all of my road races for now on. 345,602nd is the real 1st. Everyone else doesn't belong racing me. They are too good.
"I would like to thank all the little people for their roles in my victory! Especially the "girls"! They know who they are . . . "
