January 24th - Meetings, Meals, and Memories - Rest

After a great day of running yesterday at Derry's Boston Prep 16 Miler, today was a day to rest while I spent time with friends and attending some meetings.

First up was lunch with Angela (you're in the blog). I haven't seen her for a few months so her and I made plans to do lunch at Panera after her practice and before the Rhode Island Collegiate DECA State Meeting that I had to attend. We had a great lunch and caught up on life and enjoyed a great lunch.

After lunch, I made my way down to Providence for the state meeting where I got to catch up with the Rhode Island Collegiate DECA State Action Team. It was great to see them again as I have not seen them since the Collegiate Leadership Academy in New York City in November.

After the meeting, I caught up with Nate (High School DECA North Atlantic Region VP) and the two of us went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and to share thoughts about where our region can grow and just share our crazy DECA experiences.

Though I did not get any running miles in today, I had a great day with great friends and cannot wait to get back down to Rhode Island next Friday, February 4th.
