December 31st - Speed Dating - Dracut, MA - 12.5

Today I met up with Jess, Linda, Dave, Karen, and Glenn for what turned out to be a beautiful day for a run. All I knew was that during today's run, I was going to meet some women who were single (for obvious reasons) and wanted to meet me.

First up was Heather. Heather was nice. She was very straight edged with little deviation. She had a modest personality but lacked creativity and sense of adventure. When she brought you along on one of her stories, you knew where you were going because she revealed the ending before you even got there. Not my cup of tea so I moved on to the next.

Next up was Tina. Tina was a short pleasant girl but was apparently to busy to speak with, so I passed right by her and onto the next girl on our run.

This brought me up to Ms. Parker and Ms. Jones. These two ladies were extremely nice to me and had no surprises. They were upfront with what they were looking for in a relationship.

Ms. Parker was a tall women with long legs who looked like she just moved out of beverly hills. She showed off her expensive wardrobe for all to see and flaunted her higher class status right in my face. I knew she would be too high maintenance. I am sorry, I can't do that, I don't have the time, energy, or money (I'm a college student after all).

Ms. Jones was equally as tall but she was slightly older. She was pleasant to speak with it but was obvious what here motives were and that she was doing this just to get out of the house and strike up some conversation with new people. She did appear to have modest wealth from her years of "life experience" but again, I am not here to play therapist so I politely moved on.

Helen was next. She was short curvy woman with a strong personality (She was a CENSORED). She did not care how you felt about anything. She was going to drag you down and take you for everything you got. If any of you ever meet Helen, run as fast as you can to get away from her!

Betty Ann was waiting for me when I finished with Helen. Betty Ann was a well-rounded girl with a nice family. Her and I shared some stories and before I knew it our time was up. She wanted me to stay but I told her there were others I would like to meet. She then turned into a monster and I ran like hell to get away from her and ran right by Helen again (I think she planned that)!

By this time, I could see there was no hope for me today and decided it would be best to just skip Bonnie. I was tired and simply did not have the energy. Don't get me wrong, she seemed nice but I was to mentally and physically tired to deal with anything else today.

(I am going to stay single for now . . .)

Disclaimer:
For those of you who have not realized by this point that the women in this story are street names, probably think I am a self-centered, arrogant dirtbag, and think I deserve to be single. I do not actually think this of these women as they are streets and their were no actual dates or people involved. It was simply a great day of running with great friends in Dracut. Nothing like ending 2010 by running the rolling hills of Dracut (and yes, some of them were VERY nasty)!
